S1:E9 - The Master's Voice with Murali Maddala, Asia Pacific Regional Leader, Technology Services, Johnson & Johnson on what startups can learn from large orgs, developing people, hiring and lot more

The Master's Voice with Murali Maddala, Asia Pacific Regional Leader, Technology Services, Johnson & Johnson.

Our today’s guest is from a different world. A different planet! And, the reason I say he is from a different world, is because, he is from a large, multinational organization unlike other guests so far on this podcast. Murali is the Asia Pacific, Regional Leader for the Technology Services team at a wonderful organization called, Johnson & Johnson where he has been for the last 11+ years. And, he is based out in Singapore.

Before J&J, Murali has been with organizations like Motorola, Dell Technologies, and Netkraft, where he built the team from scratch and grew to several hundred. He built delivery centers, transitioned technology processes from different countries, and created centers of excellence.

Murali is one of those leaders whom I really admire and respect a lot. Humble, caring, empathetic, people centric, and goal-driven are the adjectives that come to my mind when I talk of him. He always sets a high bar for himself, supports and develops his team, and believes in driving accountability. A wonderful leader to work with!

In this episode, I try to bring out some of his methods, experiences, learnings, advice on scaling, leadership, leading people, and other people challenges that startup founders, leaders, and other professionals may find useful.
